UTL Cheers Marathon Success in Cyprus and London

At UTL, precision and excellence define our print management services, and our owner and investor, James Stephens, exemplifies this spirit. In an inspiring feat, James conquered two world-class marathons in just five weeks: the OPAP Limassol Marathon in Cyprus on March 23, 2025, in 3:05, and the TCS London Marathon on April 27, 2025, in 3:07. These impressive times qualify him for all major marathons in his age group, paving the way for global competition.

The Limassol Marathon’s scenic Mediterranean coastal route challenged James with its flat, fast 26.2-mile course, which he completed under Cyprus’ spring sun in 3 hours and 5 minutes. Five weeks later, he joined over 56,000 runners in the iconic London Marathon, navigating historic streets to finish in 3 hours and 7 minutes. These back-to-back achievements reflect the same determination and ambition that drive UTL’s innovative print management solutions.

Beyond the races, James supports CarFest 2025, the UK’s largest family fundraising festival, which raises funds for several impactful children’s charities. This initiative, benefiting causes supporting children and young people facing illness, disability, and other challenges, has raised over £25 million since 2012, with all ticket sale profits directly aiding these efforts.

“Running these marathons tested my endurance and focus,” said James. “Whether crossing the finish line, leading UTL, or supporting vital causes through CarFest, it’s about setting ambitious goals and achieving them. I’m proud to represent our team’s values and excited for what these qualifying times unlock.”

James’ marathon successes inspire UTL’s culture of perseverance and excellence, mirroring our commitment to delivering cutting-edge print management across the UK. From streamlining processes to providing high-quality solutions, we’re driven to keep pushing forward.
